Dr Alice Prevost
Dr Alice Prevost is a medical doctor and specialist dermatologist who has trained and worked in all aspects of dermatology, including medical, surgical, paediatric and cosmetic dermatology. She completed her undergraduate training (MBChB) at the University of Cape Town in 2010.
Following this, she completed an MSc (Med) at the University of Cape Town, where she worked with stem cells, attempting to model early hair follicle development. After that, she worked in Internal Medicine at Groote Schuur Hospital, where she obtained a Diploma in Primary Emergency Care and a Diploma in HIV Management.
She completed her specialisation in Dermatology at Tygerberg Hospital over four years in a busy dermatology clinic where she treated and managed patients with the full spectrum of dermatological concerns. She became a fellow of the College of Dermatologists of South Africa in May 2021.
Dermatology House is a centre of excellence founded by two specialist dermatologists, Dr Alice Prevost and Dr Ahmed Dadoo.
The practice is nestled in the picturesque suburb of Newlands in Cape Town. This location was carefully selected for its central convenience and easy accessibility.
